Just a little note :)

What an exciting couple of weeks it's been!  I recognize the last time we posted was quite a while ago (except for a few pictures here and there), but time has seemed to fly by.  As we anxiously anticipated match week, we felt as if Ohio were trying to make us want to stay here - the weather quickly changed from winter to spring (and now almost summer, with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s and 80s).  We were happy to find out that Reuben matched to a program, and a few, very long, days later we found out where - we're moving to Rome,Georgia!  We are very excited for this and ready for a change.  Plus, it looks like a beautiful and cute little town!  We know that God has placed us where He wants us to be.

Reuben and I were able to participate in the 175th Birthday of Relief Society Celebration for our ward.  A skit was performed about the beginning of Relief Society, and the presidents that the society has had.  Reuben acted as Joseph Smith, and I as Emma.  Reuben got a lot of compliments - he did fabulously; he even memorized his lines (it wasn't expected for us to)!  I had fun with it, and I'm thankful I was able to be a part of the program.  It's taken me a while, but I've grown to really like this ward.

We have really been enjoying the beautiful weather Ohio has been offering - we go on quite a few evening walks and have already gone on a picnic.  We're pretty much enjoying summer in March.  I'm excited to enjoy this kinda weather year-round!

  1. Sounds like the next few months will be even more exciting! We need to get together before you move. I think you will love the south, it is such a lovely place!
